For many centuries, the great Plateau Ustyurt has been a crossroad of civilizations, has retained traces of the Scythians, Mongols and older people. On its deserted roads the ways of the great migrations laid. As the present development of the Plateau Ustyurt by people has just begun, it can be considered a kind of historical Ustyurt national reserve.

Road to Aral sea + Aral Plaza Hotel (⭐️⭐️⭐️)
The Aral is an inland salt-water sea with no outlet. It is fed by two rivers, the Amu Darya and Syr Darya. The fresh water from these two rivers held the Aral's water and salt levels in perfect balance.
The Aral Sea was a rich source of fish. Some 20 species were identified by biologists, including sturgeon and catfish. The town of Muynak, located on the edge of the sea, was a fishing town that also attracted travelers to its seaside vistas.

  • Road to Sudochie Lake
Formerly the Sudochie Lake was the largest inland water reservoir with a water mirror of 350 square kilometers and a depth of up to 3 meters.

Intensive withdrawal from the Amu Darya resulted in a significant drying out of its delta, and soon the lake lost its agricultural importance. Currently, the influx has been restored, mainly due to collector-drainage water. Lake Sudochie was occasionally filled in at times, and in some periods it was even planned to transfer some of the water to the Western Aral. Sudochie is 80-85 km from the Aral Sea

Lunch will be in Kungirad village

  • Road to Mizdakhan Necropolis
Mizdakhan necropolis, ancient cemetery, located next to the remains of the Gyaur-Kala fortress, is one of the oldest and most visited pilgrimage sites of Karakalpakstan. The fortress received its name during the Arab conquest, and means “a fortress of disbelievers”, as scientists found that the inhabitants of the fortress used to be Zoroastrians before the Arab conquest.
